Starting therapy can be both exciting and relieving, as well as initially daunting. Many people avoid therapy for fear of judgement, not thinking their issues are "that bad", or are afraid of finding out the truth of what’s really going on inside. When there's avoidance or lack of help, these problems tend to keep getting worse and individuals often find themselves later experiencing worsening depression, chronic relationship issues, or poor self-esteem. These individuals who avoid working on themselves may even continue to make poor choices and just don't know why, or how to stop.

I enjoy working with adults, young adults, couples and teens who are going through life transitions, are struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, life transitions and more. I also can help you learn strategies to implement more effective communication in relationships and families. I specialize in helping individuals learn techniques about how to regulate their emotions and work through ambivalence to take back control of their life.
I am a Brainspotting Practitioner. What is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is an evidence-based powerful mind and body therapy that has rapid effects, focusing on the idea that where you look affects how you feel. Brainspotting helps clients work through and release emotionally and bodily-based conditions such as PTSD, phobias, trauma, relationship and performance issues. In a supportive therapeutic setting, Brainspotting helps the client work through issues using deep focused mindfulness and fixed eye positions to allow the body's innate wisdom to bring them back to homeostasis.
In addition to Brainspotting, my therapeutic style includes an array of effective, evidence-based techniques including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, Gottman Method, Motivational Interviewing, and more.
My hope is that while working with me you feel both supported and challenged to be able to identify some of your hurdles and help your overcome them.

My fees for therapy are based on my credentials, years of experience and community standards. I accept payment in the form of Credit Cards, Venmo, and Zelle. I am also currently In-Network with Anthem's UCSHIP Insurance. If I am out of network for you, I can also provide you with a super bill to submit to your insurance for partial or full reimbursement.
