Brainspotting

That gap between what you know and what you feel — that's exactly where Brainspotting works.

A lot of people who find their way to Brainspotting have already done real work on themselves. They understand their patterns. They've talked about it, thought about it, maybe even made peace with it intellectually. And yet something still feels stuck in the body, in the nervous system, or in a place words haven't quite reached.

Brainspotting is a body-based, evidence-backed approach that works beneath the level of talking. It's built on a simple observation: where you look affects how you feel. By identifying specific eye positions connected to where pain or stress is held in the brain and body, Brainspotting allows your nervous system to access and release what's been stored there, often without needing to find the words for it first.

You remain fully present and in control throughout. Think of it less as a technique being done to you, and more like giving your nervous system focused permission to do what it already knows how to do.

It tends to be particularly helpful for anxiety that doesn't respond to logic, trauma that lives in the body more than the mind, grief or experiences that may be too hard to describe in words, and patterns that keep returning despite years of talk therapy.

I became certified in Brainspotting because I kept seeing the limits of what words alone could do. It filled a gap I didn't know how to fill otherwise — and it's some of the most meaningful work I do.
