What we can work on together

All sessions are offered via telehealth — secure, private, and available across California.

Many people who reach out may not be sure how to name what's wrong. Some have been carrying something quietly for years, others are in the middle of something that has upended their lives, and others may know something is off enough to affect their life or relationships but can't put their finger on it. What they share is a sense that something needs to change, and a willingness to look at what's actually underneath.

My Approach

My style is psychodynamic and relational at its core — meaning we pay attention to patterns, history, and the therapeutic relationship itself as part of the work. I draw from many different modalities, but more than any framework, I show up genuinely curious about you and not just your symptoms. I do integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation, somatic nervous system regulation, and parts work. I'm also a certified Brainspotting Practitioner, integrating body-based processing where it can go deeper than words alone.

Individual Therapy for Adults

This is the core of my practice. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship patterns, life transitions, grief, self-worth, and the quieter forms of pain that are hard to name but very real to carry.

In our work together, we go beneath the surface. We look at patterns, not just symptoms. We pay attention to what the body is holding, not just what the mind is saying. And we move at a pace that feels both authentic and safe.

I also offer Brainspotting — a powerful body-based approach for stress, trauma, and what talk therapy sometimes can't reach on its own. See more here!

Parts work and the inner world

A part of my work involves helping clients turn toward their inner world with curiosity rather than judgment,  including the parts of themselves that feel contradictory, confusing, or hard to make sense of.

Many of my clients notice conflicting inner experiences. Rather than trying to override or silence these parts of ourselves, we get curious about them — what they're protecting, what they need, what they've been carrying for a long time.

We may also explore your younger self — earlier versions of you that are still looking to be understood more fully.

Teen and young adult therapy

I have spent over a decade working intensively with teens and young adults in PHP and IOP settings, including over five years as a Clinical Director overseeing adolescent treatment. I understand this population at a level that goes well beyond the typical outpatient setting.

I work with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, identity, self-esteem, relationship stress, and the very particular pressure of growing up in a world that asks a lot of them. A significant part of this work draws from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, as I use DBT skills to help teens build emotional regulation, tolerate distress without it taking over, and communicate more effectively in the relationships that matter most to them. These are skills that tend to create real traction quickly, especially for young people who feel like their emotions are running the show.

I also work with the parents and families alongside them, because a struggling teenager rarely exists in isolation.

Fees & Insurance

Individual sessions are $200 for 50 minutes, and $250 for 80 minutes. In some cases I may be able to offer a sliding-scale rate.

I am currently in-network with Anthem UCSHIP. For all other plans, I am out of network and can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement — many PPO plans cover a meaningful portion of out-of-network therapy. I accept credit card, Venmo, and Zelle.

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so we can get a sense of fit before we schedule an appointment.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

If we are working together, you can ask me, or any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
